Being a Realtor® has given Karen the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people. She thoroughly enjoys helping clients to open or close one part of their lives and move on to something new and exciting. Whether it is a young couple purchasing their first home to raise a family, or a more mature family moving on to a new chapter in their lives. Karen finds it very rewarding to make the home buying or selling experience go as smoothly as possible. She always goes above and beyond for all of her clients. Karen believes the most important thing in the business of Real Estate is Communication. Whether it be between her and her client or participants in the transaction such as the loan officer or closing attorney.
Karen has always had a love for architecture and houses. She and her husband have an extensive background in construction and remodeling, being construction company owners for over 20 years and “flipping” houses. She enjoys touring homes and providing as much information to her clients as possible.
Karen has lived in the Savannah area for over 5 years and moved from the Southside of town to the South Effingham area. She lives on 5 acres with her husband Ray, her Dachshund (Chubbles) and 4 Pigs (Grunt, Oink, Snort and Squeal). Her son Dustin lives nearby and her Daughter Shannon and Step son Ray Jr live in Pennsylvania and are members of the military. In her spare time Karen enjoys Kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing or just walking in Savannah. But her favorite is spending the day at the beach.
