    Featured

Yes, we heard the “festivities” were postponed. However, we felt inclined to share with you our favorite bars to stop by on Savannah’s favorite holiday!

    Rusty Rudders Tap House:

Beer as cold as your ex’s heart, that’s what you’ll find behind the bar at Rudder! A loud, and rowdy crowd is who you can expect to be at this River Street bar. Live music every weekend, pool tables, and way to many drinks to count…this is where you want to find yourself on St. Patricks Day! If you’re looking for a party, this is the place for you. They’ve got 21 different brews on draft, jello shots, and way to much Jameson on their hands!

Pro Tip: Order a dead turtle shot. (Trust us, we’re local!)

    Mcdonoughs Restaurant & Lounge:

This old time local bar has been voted Savannah’s best karaoke bar 8 years in a row! According to this bar, the Beastie Boys didn’t fight for your right to party so you could drink White Claw, we tend to agree! McDonough’s is actually open from 8am – 3am. When do they sleep? (They don’t!) They just steadily pour good drinks, and serve up good food! If you really want to live like a local, McDonough’s is where you’ll end up at 1am after everyone else has gone home. Who know’s maybe you’ll end up singing a Whitney Houston song…or 12. You’ll love this old time local bar, drink a beer for us!

Starland Yard & Two Tides Brewing:

These two gems are located in the Starland district of Savannah. Not far from downtown, the Starland District is perfect for you if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of River Street. Two Tides Brewery and Starland yard are located right next to each other, you could say they’re pretty good friends! Two Tides Taproom is located in an old house and is quite the scene. Filled with local art, free pinball, and loads of good, local beer, Two Tides is the perfect place to hang out on St Patrick’s Day!

PS: Two Tides is throwing a block party this Saturday 3/14 featuring local food from Farm Bluffton, killer bluegrass music, and tapping a new beer!

Starland Yard has branded itself as “Savannah’s Backyard” and it’s so true. The Yard offers a variety of food trucks each week, and is home Vittoria Pizzeria. To be honest, that’s enough said…pizza + food trucks? Sold. But seriously, this family friendly local hang is perfect for you if you have a group of people who can’t agree on what to eat or drink, but want to hang out together!

Pro Tip: The Yard Bar is where you can find the perfect selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and frozen drinks for all your St. Pats cravings!

Of course, we can’t give you all this insider information without showing you a few of our favorite homes for sale in the area. Be sure to check them out and connect with us if you want to know more!
