Utilize your network to build a database of potential clients or referral sources. Establish yourself as an expert in your field by providing value to your database consistently and constantly work to add to your database.
2. Invest Back into Your Business
Many early-career agents focus on immediate success. While you may be making those early milestones, develop a plan to invest a certain amount of funds from each paycheck back into your business. This budget can be used for marketing expenses, continuing education, and for expanding your client base by joining social clubs, gym memberships, etc.
3. Get motivated & Get up.
If you owned your own local restaurant or shop you would get up in the mornings, open the doors, and get business going for the day. When you are beginning to shape your days in Real Estate, do the same. It is extremely important that you get up, get motivated, and get out in the world and connect. Establishing a routine, and stick to it!
4. Be Persistent, Be Patient
New Agents need to know that building a business takes time, hard work, and effort. To build a sustainable career in real estate, you need to be willing to put in the work to build an audience, and lead funnel of contacts. Learn how to work your audience, provide added value, and be consistent.
5. Find the Right Brokerage
When starting your career in real estate, it is extremely important to choose a brokerage that is the right fit for you. We suggest interviewing several brokers to ensure their culture, values, and support system are in line with your future goals.
